North Newbald, our December Walk
Our last walk this year is quite a short and hilly walk. Just under 6 miles Joan and I can do this one from memory. It takes under three hours even with breaks for refreshments. I'm sure it won't be the last time we visit here. The pubs are quaint, warm and friendly. This time we booked meals for ten of us at The Gnu. We also called in for a drink at The Tiger, we have dined here before after doing a walk in the area of High Hunsley. The meal at The Gnu was excellent value, wholesome and tasty; one of the better places to dine. We shall be back!
The photos of todays walk were taken by Paul and Phil. The weather was amazing, I can't remember a better day for walking in December! Below is a map of our route, and many photos including a group of Father Christmas look-a-likes and the odd Elf. I have no "idea" what was going on!
